Daniel Brown

Bio

Daniel F. Brown is a partner with Lippes Mathias LLP practicing in the areas of bankruptcy, tax and commercial litigation. His practice includes representing debtors, creditors and trustees in Chapter 11, Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy reorganization proceedings and Chapter 7 liquidations, as well as representing taxpayers in administrative proceedings and court litigation regarding tax disputes. He regularly represents both debtors and creditors in fraudulent conveyance and other avoidance actions, contractual disputes and secured creditor litigation.

Mr. Brown is the Chairperson of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Committee of the Erie County Bar Association. He has lectured extensively on federal tax and bankruptcy issues, potential personal liabilities of corporate officers, directors and shareholders, as well as Federal practice and procedure.

Mr. Brown was a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, in Washington, D.C.
